    > Spastic Name: Back in 2004 I used to see a wild girl whose nickname when she was in school was Spastic. This was around the same time I was starting up the new lifestyle company. Because the artwork I was using for this venture was crazy compared to the work I did for the off-road companies at the time, the term Spastic seemed to fit well for  the name, later becoming Spastic Designs before the launch in January 2005. In early 2006 there was a possible name change, but the decision to keep Spastic Designs was made, and the trademarks were purchased. We plan to carry the name into the future, continuing to make the wildstyle designs that have got us this far.

> Definition: For those who don't understand the word, in America we use it with the definition of excitement, excessive energy, or hyperactivity (Webster's). The term has many meanings, most pointing toward the offensive or obnoxious, which also works well as the name's meaning being that Spastic Designs tends to offend some with the use of sex in the products. For those smarties out there that study dictionaries, NO our company doesn't have anything to do with the cerebral palsy or convulsion definitions, but if for some reason our products do give you convulsions or muscle spasms, please let us know!

 > Bomb Threat Logo: The meaning behind the Bomb Threat logo isn't known by many. It's a road sign with a bomb silhouette that stands as a warning sign for the road ahead in life. You never know what's going to happen, so you better use your time wisely and appreciate every second. On any day, at any moment everything can change and your fuse could run out.

> Underground Style: Working around mass-media advertising or publicity without help from larger corporations is considered a characteristic of the underground. It's when something is too extreme or radical for the mainstream market. Although not popular by the overall population, underground groups or companies can still become very well-known and generate large followings. Big companies trying to find new talent in the music or entertainment industry often look in the underground scene. Spastic is currently underground and will always show support no matter what happens down the road.
